I had insurance and was paying my premium. I was satisfied to continue with my insurance. However, with Obamacare, I lost my insurance and had to go on the exchange to find a new provider. I found one from my same insurer but a different plan. After 6 months with Obamacare, my premium went up over 5 times what I signed up at. That is scary. Now a year later I have now lost my plan. It was discontinued even though I like the plan and have paid my premiums. So, I’m back to choosing a new plan. Will have to readjust as to what they will cover, how to file a claim, etc. I am informed that my new plan will be a much higher premium with a much higher deductible. If I can’t afford the insurance I will be fined. What are we to do? Usually the American thing is, “If I don’t want it – I don’t buy it.” I detest someone TELLING me I have to buy something and pay for it myself. If I am buying, I make the choice!!! Something has to be done. This cannot continue. Where are our elected officials?
